Appliqué Class! Instructor: Denise Cannon September 24, October 29 & December 3 (Saturdays): 10-3pm, $60 +pattern
Learn how to hand appliqué using different techniques! This three part class will show you different techniques for best result and demo tricks for needle turn appliqué.
You will also create a 'sample/reference' binder that will show techniques to reference any time in this and future appliqué patterns!
Part 1: Learn how to read and trace patterns, the best medium to use, how to cut the fabric and different tools to use. Part 2: Learn pattern placement, how to stabilize, create the 'reference binder' and see various stitches used with hand appliqué. Part 3: Learn more on-hand techniques. See tips and tricks to get curves curvier and points pointier. Also, learn how to handle situations in your project that did not turn out exactly the way you may have wanted!

**Basic sewing kit for class:
Ruler- rotary cutter- cutting mat-, scissor-, thread- straight pins- marker (such as a chalk pencil, mechanical pencil, etc.)-- sewing machine- iron (optional).
**Note - If you don't want to bring your sewing machine, Another Quilt will have three sewing machines to use at the cost of $ 5.00. (Based on first come first serve basis.)
